Last week the youth of New Vision traveled to Teen Valley Ranch in Plumtree, NC for winter ski retreat. What a great time! God really showed up and moved in the hearts of us all. From the moment we arrives, we felt as though we were right at “home”. Having worked at TVR in the past, I knew this would be the case. One of the mottos of TVR is: “when you first arrive we say ‘welcome’; when you come back, we say ‘welcome home'”.
As our 19 students filled the meeting room for worship sessions and Bible studies, it didn’t take long to realize this would be a unique and meaningful retreat. God challenged us through the sessions as we learned more about worship, His priority in our lives and the demonstration of His love to a lost and dying world.
