These final words from Jesus’ lips could seem like the end on a life but they were really just the segway for the future. In these words there is trust, hope, confidence, and belief as Jesus surrenders Himself to the Father. Once again Jesus is our prime example, even in death. This phrase reveals to me Jesus’ reliance upon His Father. In the same way God wants us to trust Him as He holds the future, life and death, in His hands.
