Lent Questions Day 33

lent 2014

12The next morning as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13He noticed a fig tree in full leaf a little way off, so he went over to see if he could find any figs. But there were only leaves because it was too early in the season for fruit. 14Then Jesus said to the tree, “May no one ever eat your fruit again!” And the disciples heard him say it. Mark 11

How does being hungry affect you? Does your attitude change at all?

When Jesus found the fig tree, how do you think he was feeling?

What would you have felt or thought if arriving and finding no fruit?

Do you feel Jesus was harsh in His judgment? Why or why not?

How does this story apply to your life?

Is there an area where people or Christ would expect to see fruit?

How can Lent help with that?
