Fall Festival, Halloween and More!

This past weekend we returned for a second time to the Fayetteville Fall Festival in Fayetteville, GA. It was a great time and all of our teams did very well!  We performed in two time slots: 1pm and 2:30pm, doing about a half hour each time. We had a great crowd watching and praising the Lord with us in this open air venue. Even though it was a little chilly, we had little trouble warming things up with the Lawnmower Dance and Radiator. We also did David Crowder’s Open Skies  and Family Force Five’s Radiator among many others that afternoon. Even though my heel was killing me, The Lord sustained me through the performances and I was even able to jump off the stage during Monster!

The day progressed and finished well with me slightly limping off stage and only losing my glasses for a short period of time haha. I’m very proud of our teams and the way they worked and performed.

That evening we attended New Vision Church.

On Sunday we served at Stockbridge United Methodist Church, sharing music and message in their Elevate Children’s Ministry. We had two sessions with their kids and of course, everyone had a blast!

Monday was full of work preparing for the Trunk or Treat event at Stockbridge. We moved soccer goals, set up crafts, and helped organize the event. With about 500 kids coming through collecting candy, the church parking lot was abuzz (lightyear) with costumes ranging from wolfman to ironman, princesses to pirates from about 4:30pm to 8:30pm.

V2H did a few songs and shared about Christ for about 20 minutes sharing Superhero and Monster to mention a couple.

We drove home last night and will be here today and tomorrow before heading back to GA for 2 days.
